A look back at 2019: Skipio’s year in review

We’ve had quite the year at Skipio, and that’s of course thanks to our fantastic team members and loyal customers. As we all work together to make Skipio better every day, we wanted to look back on some of our favorite moments of 2019.

Our Freemium product was released to fitness professionals

Over the past 3+ years, we’ve seen so many business owners in the fitness industry utilize Skipio to great success. And we’ve loved working with those professionals so much, we wanted even more of them to enjoy the magic of Skipio.

So we made it free. Now don’t get confused. This isn’t a Skipio free trial. The Freemium plan includes everything a business owner needs to start engaging their leads and customers through automated, personalized conversations. And when we say free, we mean free. Forever.

It’s been phenomenal to see everyone from studio owners to independent personal trainers put Skipio to work for them. As more and more people continue to use Freemium, we’re connecting and finding out new ways to help them succeed. Basically, we love our users.

We released a beautiful new version of the Skipio mobile app

It had been quite a long time since the mobile app had a visual facelift. But this update was about a lot more than looks. With increased functionality and a dedication to the user experience, the new version of the app is easier than ever to use.

It’s available on Android and iOS for all current customers on all plans.

Clients saw incredible success with Skipio Lead Nurturing

This in-house, white glove service gives clients the ultimate gift: their own time back. That’s in addition to more appointments with better qualified leads and complete peace of mind that every lead will be contacted.

Take gym owner Heather DeWitt. With Skipio Lead Nurturing, she has a 42% conversion rate from lead to close. In other words, nearly half of her prospects become members! We’re thrilled to be able to help her do that.

Zion National Park called, so we listened

Work hard, play hard. Right? We took a little time away from the Mill and enjoyed the beauty of Zion National Park. There’s something really special – and really important – about spending time with coworkers away from the office.

SMART Automations transformed the Skipio platform

Our automations have always set us apart, and SMART Automations are no exception. They help combine the best of business texting with the personal details stored in a CRM.

Skipio is all about automated, personalized messaging, so this release represented another way to show our dedication to helping businesses reach out and connect both quickly and personally.

Who doesn’t like to win awards? We all do to some degree. But we feel quite partial to our 2019 Comparably awards because they reflect what our team and culture are really about.
